What is 3DVR?

3DVR stands for “3D Virtual Reality.” It is a technology that combines three-dimensional (3D) visuals with virtual reality (VR) experiences. Here’s a breakdown of these components:

  1. 3D: In 3DVR, the visuals are presented in three dimensions, which means they create a sense of depth. This depth perception enhances the realism of the virtual environment, making it feel more immersive and lifelike compared to traditional two-dimensional displays.
  2. Virtual Reality (VR): VR is a technology that uses headsets or other devices to create a computer-generated simulation of a three-dimensional environment. When you wear a VR headset, it tracks your head movements and adjusts the visual and auditory feedback accordingly, allowing you to feel as if you’re inside the virtual world.

So, 3DVR combines these two elements to create a more immersive and realistic virtual experience, where users can interact with and explore 3D environments. It’s commonly used in various applications, including gaming, simulations, training, education, and entertainment. Caldas works uses 3DVR to place the individual inside the property, with views from different perspectives.
